JAMSHID GHAJAR
MD PhD FACS


NHC Principal

Jamshid Ghajar MD, PhD, FACS, is a board certified neurosurgeon. He completed the MD/PhD program at Cornell University Medical College. After residency, he joined the faculty at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and was a founder of the Brain Trauma Foundation (BTF) . The mission of the BTF is to improve the outcome of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). He is founder of the neurotechnology firm NeuroSync and the Stanford Brain Performance center.

ERIN ISANHART
PT, DPT, NCS


NHC CONSULTANT

Erin Isanhart PT, DPT, NCS is a board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy and board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist with an Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapy Certification.   She is the vestibular consultant for the San Francisco 49ers, Neurosync, and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh.   Erin’s dedicated intention for rehab is to improve a person’s quality of life, enhance function, and return to one’s life roles including school, work, exercise, and sports.

NHC CONSULTANT

Maya Yutsis PhD, ABPP-CN (PSY24931) is a board-certified Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 10 years of specialized experience in neuropsychological evaluations with both adolescents and adults. She is a Team Clinical Neuropsychologist for San Francisco 49ers. Current focus is on independent medical examinations, aviation neuropsychological evaluations for pilots, clinical evaluations, sports neuropsychology and research.

Scott Anderson
MA, ATC, FMSC, DNSP

NHC CONSULTANT

A board-certified Athletic Trainer and Clinical Specialist, with numerous advanced clinical certifications including those related to movement impairment syndromes and sports related concussion. He is the Chief Clinical Officer for NeuroSync, serves as a concussion consultant for the National Football League (NFL), and formerly lead the Sports Medicine program at Stanford. Scott brings a tech forward approach to patient care, injury prevention and human optimization so patents can preserve their health across the lifespan.

Dr. Sarah Cheyette
NHC CONSULTANT

Dr. Sarah Cheyette is a board certified Pediatric Neurologist who has many years of experience in treating ADHD in adults and children, as well as concussion   She is a speaker at the International ADHD conference and has been a "Top Doctor" in San Francisco Magazine for multiple years.  She is now in private practice and uses the NeuroSync device for diagnosis and management of ADHD as well as concussion. 

Ricky Yu

NHC CONSULTANT

A board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with over a decade of experience at Stanford Healthcare and private practice. His expertise includes treating complex head and neck disorders, concussions, headaches, vestibular issues, and guiding patients through post-surgical rehabilitation. Ricky has extensive experience working with elite athletes and high-performing professionals. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a committed mentor and educator, training students from top universities and developing innovative programs at Stanford.

Lyssa Rome
MS, CCC-SLP


NHC CONSULTANT

A nationally certified speech-language pathologist specializing in neurorehabilitation for adults recovering from concussion, brain injury, stroke, and other neurogenic disorders. She delivers highly individualized, evidence-based treatment aimed at restoring cognitive and communication functions to improve quality of life. Lyssa empowers clients to meet their personal recovery goals and confidently re-engage in work, social, and personal activities.
